Just Another Day at 90 Clifton
After 12 hours of running around uni handling Member Recruitment, SN recruitment, budgeting, EB interviews, JNC planning, holding an "emergency" SN meeting, and somehow attending class as well I finally have 20 minutes to spare before I have to head off to do a sudden SN information session. Yeps it really is just another day at the AIESEC office at 90 Clifton. I spent yesterday planning, planning, and more planning for SN and Member recruitment. I searched, searched, and searched, emailed and emailed, and organised till I was sure I had everything covered. Delia and I stayed up till 3 AM covering SN Recruitment. She went to sleep only to be woken up a few minutes later to me frantically going on about member profiles. After searching various communities we finally gave up at 5 AM. Two hours of sleep later I found myself running to a Money and Banking class chugging down a cappuccino and a Boston cream donut. Somehow it reminded me of high school, sprinting to class clutching a Tim Horton's French Vanilla Capp, all the while hoping the Celine Dion version of O Canada lasts just a little bit longer. 3 hours of interest rates later, my role as LCP takes over. As crazy hectic as it may be, I love it. Sitting here right now, I can’t imagine myself as anything other than LCP. Right at this moment, with less than two months of my term left to go, I can reminiscence back to the first time Tori and I sat down at Deja Vu and discussed the vision of a Karachi LC. I wouldn’t trade this experience for anything.
