Well i planned to upload this pic while writing abt nyds but unfortunately my lovely internet at home does not love me too much so i thought i'd 'abuse' my work facilities a little bit ;)

So here's the karachi lc, this pic was taken towards the end of the conference (our conditions are justified!!:p)

Also, Lahoris - Incest Xp is limited to ur OWN LC (and im address specific people here;))

we love you lc..we dooo

The cards we gave out as conference giveaways - Sharmeen, our VP DT came up with the idea, and I designed it - so please excuse the creepy (but somewhat cute) smile. :P

NYDS 2005 - Karachi!

While NYDS is a national conference, due to some constraints, we had to do separate conferences for the Lahore and Karachi LCs. Ours was over the weekend and it was simply amazing - we just recruited 13 new students from SZABIST who will hopefully prove to be amazing AIESECers, and I felt that it was the best way to kickoff their term by having a local conference. Our MC did a great job with running all the sessions - and combine that with a supercool LCP and EB, recharged members, hilarious rollcalls, jives and punishments - not to forget our great conference giveaway card :)

you can, youcanyoucanyoucan!

David Benjamin from New Zealand has created a supercool unofficial website for YouCan! 2005. Check it out here. Perfect for all the AIESECers who went to YouCan and are still suffering conference blues - I know all of us at AIESEC Karachi are :(

leaving on a jet plane...

A post that has been due for the longest time....

I couldn't believe Tori when she called me at work a month ago and said i was going to India - i wanted scream! I knew the experience would be amazing, but i didn't know i'd end up meeting some of the best people! :)

Our journey was an adventure from the start, visa issues, flight schedules, arranging for a place to sleep - and that first night sitting in the girls' hostel with Zehra i had a feeling after this trip my life would change.

Now when i look back or even talk about it - it just seems so unbelievable, did we really get kicked out of a hotel at 3 am and were still able to joke about it? or get lost in a city most of us hadn't been to before?
Wow, we are a bunch of loonies but that just goes out to prove that we're up for anything...and to be honest i don't think i'd have made it through the trip if you guys (Karachi and Lahore) weren't there.

Thanks for everything guys :)

ps: Hey AIESEC - ALLLLAAA!!!:p

The EB has just arrived back in Karachi after 12 days. From Karachi to Lahore to Delhi to Agra - all to make it to YouCan! 2005 in Agra, India. If I had to describe the entire experience in one word, it would be - phenomenal. The excitement, the great bonds we formed with the Lahore LC, the energy in the air at the thought of meeting so many AIESECers from around the world and the awesome Opening Ceremony for IC and YouCan - Pakistan became the highlight of the ceremony and it was an emotional moment for most of us to see everyone welcome Pakistan into the AIESEC fold.
