PAI Visit!

I've had the most inspiring day ever - having Brodie in town - and attending an EB meeting AND a GBM has been just amazing. The leadership team left that meeting feeling so incredibly inspired and motivated. On my way back home from the dinner afterwards - I realized what made it so great, was the fact that while answering all our questions, Brodie connected to each level - from an LC member to a LCP. And after 6 years in AIESEC - from being a LC member to being PAI, its so interesting to see that someone can actually connect to all levels and think from their perspective.

The entire day has passed by in this blur - from frantically calling Tori up to confirm our meetup details to finally getting around to fixing up the LC office (after 2 weeks of planning to do it, and a very charged up EB finally deciding to do it on Friday) to finalizing agendas and plans.

Our office looks absolutely amazing now. As I said to Nic this afternoon - you will not recognize it! We've put up a world map with post-its marking where we've been and which AIESECers have traveled to Pakistan from where*, pictures from LC outings, conferences and meetings and BSC output sheets.

Naveen and Rabia - I love you two for all the work you put into it - I actually feel inspired just sitting in the office and looking at the cubicle walls :)

Nightmare inducing reports..

Having just completed what can only be termed as an exercise for the MC to make sure LCPs have nightmares - the SONA report (Read Nida's take on it here) - I have come to the conclusion that there is nothing left to do but make an LC version of the SONA for the MC, titled 'The LCs Strike Back'. Have already come up with a number of questions including one that has perplexed me for quite a while..

'Avg % of time the MC takes to get away from a computer.'

Any anwers? ;)

Welcoming the MCPe!

After a crazy welcome at the train station (pics of that coming soon!) and a number of random hangout sessions later, we decided to finally give Emad a proper welcome at Espresso..the first step to him becoming a Karachiite :P
